• Creams, Gels & Ointments – a means to deliver the required medication directly to the skin, joint, or mucous membrane, which reduces the negative side-effects associated with taking the same medicine internally. Different bases and strengths are offered.
• Oral Liquids & Suspensions – the only option for children, older patients with swallowing difficulties, and patients who are being tube-fed. We can flavor the liquid for improved palatability and can avoid sugar, gluten and artificial dyes if required.
• Troches – a flavored dissolving lozenge which dissolves slowly in the mouth providing medication delivery through the oral tissue without swallowing and digestion. A good option for patients having difficulties with taking tablets, capsules or injections.
• Nasal Sprays – the fastest and the easiest way to administer medications which bypass the entire digestive tract. Used when the oral administration is either too slow, unsuitable, or not well-tolerated by the patient.
• Suppositories – a great alternative for patients who cannot take medications by mouth because of nausea, vomiting, after surgery, or having swallowing problems, since it allows to absorb the medication through rectum or vagina.
